Based on the grade distribution of shaft temperature and simplified probability distribution of outdoor dry-bulb temperature gained previously, introducing the concept and method of infiltration degree-hours, calculates the heating energy consumption for air infiltration by each building storey and compares the energy consumptions in typical place in various climate zones, as well as analyses the related influencing factors such as air tightness of exterior windows. The results show that the maximum air infiltration and energy consumption per unit length gap of the same building do not appear in the bottom storey, and the average storey air infiltration and energy consumption per unit length gap show approximately linear increasing with building height. Suggests that windows and doors of different air tightness levels should be adopted in buildings in different regions.
